Nurse Prescriber, Sophie
SH Aesthetics is a Nurse led clinic owned by Nurse Prescriber, Sophie. Sophie started her nursing career in 2007 with The University of the West of England, Bristol and graduated in 2010 as a Registered Adult Nurse.
Sophie has worked in numerous hospitals around the country, predominantly within acute assessment and emergency departments.
Although Sophie loved her nursing career in acute care, factors such as shift work and long hours made it difficult to strike a good work/life balance.
With facial aesthetics becoming increasingly popular, she decided to train as an aesthetician in 2018 making for very flexible working. Sophie instantly had a passion for working in this field.
She finds helping people feel good about their appearance and thus increasing their confidence very rewarding.
Safety of her clients is paramount. Sophie is fully insured by Hamilton Fraser and a member of ACE, Aesthetics complications expert.
About Sophie
Sophie was bought up in the Wye Valley and now lives in south Gloucestershire, close to the Wye Valley/Forest of Dean border. In her spare time Sophie enjoy's exploring the Forest of Dean, whether it be running or taking the dog for a stroll. Sophie is family oriented and lives with her husband Anton and her two sons, Casper and Obi (who are less than a year apart, and keep her very busy). Sophie also has a Springer Spaniel "Teddy".
Personal Assistant, Lyn
Lyn joined SH Aesthetics as Sophie's PA in October 2023. Lyn has over 18 years experience working as a medical secretary within the NHS and is always on hand to help you with any queries, and looks forward to welcoming you to the clinic.
